System recovery

    Hi,

    About two weeks ago I did a system recovery for my hp pavillon. It didn't work and said that I needed to update my registry. I couldn't get onto my computer at all until I got it fixed. I was just wondering how can you update your registry?

    Think the only way to do that is to do regular backups of the registry. Try ERUNT.

    MS do have an article on repairing a registry but it resets it back to fresh install status.
