Things which i hav tried already...
Changing HDD, Changing SMPS, Changing RAM,... Reinstalling XP and got a big bulb...

and may this an info... before restarting it flashes a Blue Error Screen for a Second... sorry i was not able to hold at that screen.. i dont what comes in that screen.. and i will get scandisk eachtime after the restart....

You can go into Event Viewer and take a look at your system logs to see the BSOD error message.

Most likely causes: overheating or over clocking, followed by bad RAM/mobo or bad power. Incorrect drivers are also a common cause, but the way this error has been cropping up suggests it' is hardware related.

My first inclination is to get a can of air and blow the dust out of the system.

If you're getting chkdsk scans at boot time, your file system is probably FAT32, which is less robust than NTFS.

  4. Most likely the system is overheating. Your best bet would be to take the computer apart and make sure all the cooling fans are working properly and clean out the cooling vents. One time i took my computer apart completely and cleaned out the dust from the internals and it runs now about 5 degrees (F) cooler than it did before. Or just clean the vents with a vacumn. That may help.
    lemme know if this helps

ya thanks a lot for ur timely reply....

i have cleaned the dust completely... and i think so its working now... 5 hrs of running.. no restart ... may b i shld c for a long run...

    Thanks a lottt.....

  6. No problem man. Now with no dust inside the system it can dissapate more heat because the cpu will heat up when you use it because it is now active. With dust it hampers the ability to cool itself and thus when it overheats the restart is a safety device to prevent system damage. But whenever that happens you should do that first because the overheating can destroy your processor. Glad to hear your working now though. Just clean out the system if that ever happens again because that could be the problem. But you should be ok now.

wow never would have suspected dust, I wonder if it is restarting still...

  8. Hey shang,
As a matter of fact the computer is not restarting at all now. Like i have stated in my last post, the restarting is a saftey switch inside the systems BIOS that is there to monitor system temperature and when it overheats it restarts the system to prevent damage to the processor. The dust clogs up the cooling devices which causes heat to be trapped in the system thus heating it and not allowing sufficient cooling to the system thus causeing overheating and tripping the saftey in BIOS causeing the system to overheat. When he cleaned out the system it allowed proper cooling to resume and the system does not overheat. You should try cleaning the internals should your system start doing that first because the heat can literally burn out your processor thus makeing need for a new one. But if the guy is not saying there are problems I think he is ok.
