    Hi There!

I had some problems with my computer a few months ago and had to take it in for repairs. However, when I got it back the system restore function is no longer working. I am running Windows ME on a HP Pavilion 7865.

    I did the following:
1: Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2: On the Performance tab, click File System, or press ALT+F.
3: On the Troubleshooting tab, there is no check next to the Disable System Restore check box.

I called the place that did the repairs to my system and they told me that they always disable it and that if I wanted to have it re-enabled I was going to have to bring the system back in and pay to have that done.

Is there any way that I figure out how to re-enable the system restore since the obvious way is not going to work? confused

Any suggestions would be Greatly Appreciated.

    Thanks!
