system restore failure

    When I open Help & Support for Windows XP and try to get into system restore facikity I get the following error message. I wanted to create a restore point prior to applying service packs for XP. I sthere a friendly way to fix this other than re-installing XP Pro again?

    Thanks THEDoug...just got back from there and fixed it myself and it worked fine then went to see your reply. Thanks for taking the time to look that up. I should have done that first myself and saved you the trouble!
