System Restore has stopped working

    I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium on an Acer Aspire 9410Z notebook, and my System Restore has stopped working. It WILL work if I boot into Safe Mode, but not in Normal Mode. I've researched this online and found many instances of this problem, but no solutions other than "just run it in Safe Mode."

    Incidentally, I've gone through the entire READ & RUN ME process and had my logs evaluated here, and my machine seems to be totally clean.

    What would cause this problem, and is there a fix?
