system restore not working

    When I try and use my system restore the only month that shows up is Feb. it will not let me go back to Jan.
    Also after it runs the system restore it ends with a message that it could not restore.
    I can make restore points but it will not restore.
    Any idea why this is happening.
    It has always worked just fine.
