So, today I installed my 2nd new Ipod (had to make an exchange). After I had all of the drivers/iTunes etc. added, I restarted. When the startup screen showed, I noticed that my desktop looked different. I had saved a few pictures to it last night and they weren't there. I checked my WMP and also found that some songs I had ripped from CDs last week weren't there either, nor in the right folder. As it turns out, my computer is effectively EXACTLY what it was two weeks ago. I uninstalled Photoshop last week, but it's installed again now.

For the most part this wouldn't suck-- however, I spent the last week working on the layout for the 12 pages of my school newspaper (the deadline of which is tonight), and ALL of the final pages, pictures, articles, etc. are gone.

I have no clue why it would revert back to 2 weeks ago. The only idea I have is that is when my iPod stopped connecting with my computer-- it wasn't a recognized device because of a hardware issue, so that's why I got a new one.

In short, I REALLY, REALLY need to figure out how to fix this. If I lost the pages I'm in a lot of trouble-- I'm trying to avoid having my head on the chopping block at all costs. Please help me!!!
