System Restore Points Gone

I went to restore my computer to a couple of days ago, and all my restore points are missing!

• I have over 100GB of hard drive space
• I DID NOT disable System Restore Manually
• System Restore service is running in services.msc

Are they gone forever? or is there a process I could complete which would restore them?

 

unfortunately there probably gone, did you run any apps like crap cleaner, last i checked crapcleaner didn't remove them but some other may, as the do take space. Probably worth going back and making one now just in case.

 

I had to hard-shutdown my computer, and when it restarted my sound card was not being detected and my restore points were gone.

I ran CCleaner yesterday, but my restore points were still there afterwards.

 

Have you checked how much space is set for sys restore to use? It's on the sytem restore first page under "System Restore Settings"

 

It's set to MAX, I really need these restore points. I'm gonna have to do a full windows install if I can't restore.

 

Why would you have to reinstall windows because of restore points?

 

I already installed the sound drivers again, and it didn't work. I need to restore to when it DID work or re-install everything.
