system restore

    Hello everybody!

    I was wondering if somebody could tell me how to create a system restore cd for my Sony Vaio. Thanks!!

    hi, as far as i remember windows backup utility doesnt allow to make restore cds, the best way would be to use 3d party backup progs like true image.

    How about Nero? I think it does it, but I wasn't sure of the procedure, I guess It is time to google!! :)
    Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

    Creating a restore point, if that is what you are attempting, does not allow the creation of a CD. It simply stores restore info on your hard drive.

    If you attempt to use MS backup, it also does not back up to CD/DVD, but creates a file (ISO?) that you burn to CD/DVD.

    As previously stated a third party backup program like Acronis True Image is well thought of. Bazza
