    hi and welcome to MGs.

i am not sure which OS you are useing but nrmally this works for windows.

click START/CONTROL PANEL/PERFORMANCE & MAINTAINENCE/SYSTEM RESTORE it should bring up a screen that asks RESTORE MY COMPUTER TO AN EARLIER DATE click NEXT and the choose a date to restore.

    good luck:)

Hi thunder an welcome to Major Geeks.

You need to be a little more specific than this.

Bill is correct to ask are you using Windows and if so which version?
    Can you actually start Windows?
If not can you start to safe mode, by repeatedly pressing F8 as you boot.
If not does any error message come up. please post it exactly if so.
If not describe exactly what happens when you boot the pc.
Do you have the Windows disk for this pc and is there a serial number sticker somewhere on the case?
