System Restore

Hi all.
I wanted to uninstall and reinstall Nero.
I uninstalled but couldn't find the disc. I know, make sure you haven't lost the disc before you uninstall, ooops, too late.
I tried system restore and even in safe mode it tells me that it can't restore to that or another time.
Why?

System Restore won't bring back Nero but you still have an issue, try disconnecting from internet and turning off your antivirus first, if that does not help see trouble shooter link below.

Contact Nero support, if you can verify your registration they will most likely let you download it again or send the CD at a small charge.

I have 'acquired' Nero 7, i had a legit copy so i have paid once.
I did try the trial of Nero 9, what a mess that is IMHO.
I shall turn off system restore and turn it back on.
I have read that if one point gets corrupt all subsequent points will be as well.
Ah well, that' taught me a lesson, BACKUP before messing!!
