System Restore

Heya geeks,

my system restore has stopped working, when clicking on it nothing happens and could really do with runing it as i have no Media player and a misbehaving IE after uninstalling NAV2004. (mentioned in another post but this is a different query).

Does anyone know of a prog i could install that would be able to restore to a point saved earlier by windows restore??

a program called goback makes system restore look like child's play. but it does slow down hardrive writes slightly. check into it.

other than that, you could look into disk imaging software such as norton ghost (or similar programs) they will allow you to make a exact copy of a hardrive so you can revert to it when ever you need to.

just remeber you have to have it installed before you have the problem, I just want to make that clear.
