system snafu?

    Here's one: I have my desk top hooked up to cable modem, directly. And I have my lap top hooked up to the modem directly. Problem? When I restart my lap top, and the desk top is also on, the desk top will go to blue screen with error messages, and go through a system check, then restart with a fat32 file recheck. RoadRunner says that isn't normal. They seem to think it's something wrong with my system. I'm running Windows XP, an Intel Celeron II (766mhz), with 128 mb ram (PC100 SDRAM). Thoughts?
