My OS is XP Pro, SP 3. I just updated my Comodo firewall and after a system restart I was advised that my Start Up selection had been changed. I rechanged it back to Normal Start Up (load all device drivers and services, not sure where it was previously) but now I'm not so sure I should have. I changed it from Selective Start Up which shows:

    - Process System INI. File
    - Process Win.INI File
    - Load System Services
    - Load Start Up Items
    - Use Original Boot.INI

Can anyone help me as to what I should use? Thanks!

    Hi

Stick with Normal startup over selective, if you have selective startup then your using msconfig to manage startups, dont use something like startupCPL to manage this as msconfig is a troubleshooting app and adds its own startup so defeating the object of minimising startups when using it.
