I have Avast! Antivirus installed and I have Windows Media Center, I can not figure out why this program will not show up in the systray.
On my other PC the virus program shows in the tray why will this program not show up ?

    Ok...try this...

    Open the Avast scanner.

Click the little arrow up button on the top left of the scanner.

From the drop-down menu slect <settings>

From the settings menu click <Appearance>

Check the box <Show Avast! tray icon>

    That's it! :)

Do you have AdWatch (Ad-Aware SE) installed?

It could be blocking ashDisp.exe on startup. You might try disabling the AdWatch feature (if you have it) and see if the icon appears.
