I just got a new computer. I consider myself a pretty advanced user, but I cannot figure out why my system clock keeps falling back a few hours. It can't be the mobo battery because the system is barely a month old. I need to sync the clock every few hours.

I tried setting up my own timeserver...I'll find out in a few hours if it worked.

Pending advice to the contrary I would be looking at replacing the mobo battery OR look for a crook contact there. Point I make is that the battery allegedly new could be a crook battery anyway. If under guarantee check back with the computer supplier.
    Cheers
