T.S and Mic problems

HI all,
Had T.S and Bf2 in game squad communication working fine, then it stopped? I can still here noise, just cant talk, or be heard. I am a total noob with computers, so please be patient. Can the sound device break or stop working for the Mic only. I have checked all device managers ( sound, video and game controllers) and they all check O.K. I have also checked sound and audio devices in control panel and run the test procedure with no results.

Thanks in advance for any help as I am at a total loss and don’t have the money to have some one fix it.
