T S I A D D / D T - 802 ATA Device

I was just browsing on yahoo home page and I seen the; "T S I A D D / D T - 802 ATA Device" was just installed a screen popped up on the bottom right hand of my screen saying so, I did not ask for this to be installed and thought it was odd as i believe i only install updates for windows,

Major Geeks please reply to me to say if this is unusual behaviour or not as I use my pc for buying stuff online.

Ps I am using a Toshibe Satelite Pro P200-1EE service pack 2

I posted this in the driver forum as I believe this is the correct forum to find out if this is a real driver or possibly a virus, I think it was odd as I only install updates for windows, please correct me if this is a common installation, if mod thinks its a virus kindly send tread to malware

Hi Mary

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using (I do note SP2 mentioned but for what Windows version)?

I would imagine that its possible that a new driver for your WiFi was installed and that's why you noticed the popup. So it maybe something and nothing BUT.....

What I would do is run a anti-malware scan and this one HERE (do update it when asked) and see if you have any malware, if this application mentions any malware, do post back and we can direct you to more help on this.
