Tandem GPUs

This may sound silly but i feel i need to ask.
I have got 3 PCs with 3 different GPUs the first is a GTX295, the second GTX260 and the last GTX250 now the third PC is a doorstop but the card is in pristine working order.
I know if i had 2 X 265 i could run them in tandem on one machine but would a combination of 1 X265 and 1 X 250 work or would the system run at the speed of the slower card???

I am not disappointed in any way because i don't need better graphics than i have now, i was just curious if i could run them in tandem on a PC that is dedicated to Folding@home but as i have the capacity to produce between 17 and 18 thousand points per day running both machines, i am not heartbroken.
As always with folding you are always looking for a little more.

 

@Bill I asked a similar question elsewhere about a 260 and a 9800GT for folding and got answers ranging from no to the 260 coming down to the 9800 level. People just don't know but I would imagine there would be driver conflict of some sort but that's a guess too.:confused I'm not going to test this out, instead it's major surgery time by taking out the new PSU and GPU out of my quad and installing it on my X2 machine and rebuilding the quad to what it was, dual 9800GTs.

I have had mixed results using 2 different types of cards for Folding. Sometimes it works, sometimes one card works, the other Folds super slow. Worth a shot if you have a cold room in your house...

I have much better luck with matched cards, but why not give it a shot?
