Task Manager in XP SP2 has decided it hates me.

My compy runs (well, ran) Win XP Home. Recently upgraded to XP SP2 via windows update. And it was good - for a while.

Went to run Task Manager to check what my network connection was doing. Except, the wonderful tab system I was used to... was gone. All you get, from either hitting ALT+CTRL+DEL, or by right-clicking on the taskbar and picking "task manager"... is a box. Said box has a list of programs running, who's running them, and a button to end process. But the tabs are gone, the title bar of TM is gone, and the only way to close TM is to hit ALT + F4. Not to mention the fact that the little box... thing.. (Don't know the technical term, sorry) that pops up in the taskbar for each running program doesn't have any text in it for TM, just the little icon.

Er, help? I think I might've accidentally caused this to happen, but I've trawled through the Windows help file for a solution (or even possible cause), but have found none. So, if anyone's heard of this problem, then please, give me a hand?
And if nobody has... hey, I just found a whole new way to break windows!

Task Manager can run in a small footprint mode, which removes the menu bar and the page tabs. To enable tiny footprint mode, double-click in the border around the tabs. To switch back, double-click the border area again.
