A while back, my task manager changed it's format/appearance. It used to be the traditional TM with process, performance, network tabs. But now it switched to just one box with the processes. The other was nicer because I could monitor the cpu usage etc. In fact now I have to click on taskmgr in the box to get rid of itself their is no box to close it anymore. Does anyone know how I can get my old format back?

Try double clicking on the border of the task manager. If that doesn't bring back all your buttons and stuff, then it must be something else that I don't know about.

Just tried double clicking it myself and yes that removed the buttons. Double clicked again and that brought the buttons back to its original state in Win XP.
