task scheduler does not run

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem getting Task Scheduler to run. It keeps telling me I don't have the proper access to run it even though I am the Administrator of this computer. I put in a password but it doesn't take it. If I leave out the password it won't run. I don't have a password for my account since it's my home computer, is that why it won't work? Do I need to put a password in for my account or create a new account with a password just for task scheduler? :confused
