taskbar in windows 98

The taskbar in an old computer I am working on is out of wack. I am using and old emachine with windows 98 installed and the prolem I am having is the task bar is on the right hand side of the screen (top to bottom). I need to know how to get it back to the bottom of the screen where it should be.

 

you should be able to right click somewhere and deselect "lock the taskbar" and then be able to click and drag the taskbar to the bottom of the screen again.

 

Hover your mouse cursor over the taskbar. Left click on a blank area of it and drag it down to the bottom of your screen.
