aloha everyone. I'm moving to another part of this beautiful island. this entails looking at tax map keys. these records are available at the county offices and are also on line. there is a way of 'downloading' them into the puter so that they can be zoomed in on and printed. i cant seem to do it. all i get is a blank page. the site has a help section, but it isn't helping! i have a emachine c2825, windows xp , and I'm on dsl. i have zone alarm, anti virus xp, spy blaster, and spy bot, (in case I'm somehow 'blocking' this). this is the tax map link. when you get there just press any number and you will get the tax map of that area. then try to put it into windows? help.

The page with all the zones on doesnt look like its one that could be blocked by popup stoppers/firewalls etc.... you could try deleting your Temp Internet Folder then try again that page if not I can download them all and zip them up?

Just another thought, they are .tif's, try if you see the tif file right click and download one then right click it and select open with and choose a compatable graphics program and see if it opens, then try normally clicking one online.

what i get if i right click is something about 'quicktime'. i tried to capture the box for you but i cant keep iit on the screen when i activate screenhunter. its supposed to have an 'open in windows and fax viewer' option (amongst others)

that gave me an idea. i can capture the maps with screenhunter and then open them in windows or easyshare. i know there is probably a better way but this will do. ive tried it and it works. thanks for your time and help halo. much aloha
