Add Day of the week, Date to the time displayed bottom right of your screen.
MS should have provided this as standard, IMHO. Great little program. Bazza

    >> Guess I'll have to check out the XP limitations I've never experienced any difficulty with it in XP and have been using it for many months. Try it. Bazza <<

I have used this program ever since I first had Windows 95 installed and love it - especially because the program can be set to show "seconds." This is particularly useful to troubleshoot by checking to see if Windows (or just the program I'm using) "freezes" by checking to see if the "seconds" are working. As for the "problem with XP" very basically, according to the developer of TClockEx; this is the only "limitation" of this program...

"If you use a desktop theme other than Classic, TClockEx's display is not so nice because it does not have a transparency option that would allow the color scheme of the desktop theme to show through."

On my home computer I have TClockEx installed and I use the "classic" theme and therefore I've never had this problem. I'm not at home right now and the computer that I'm using does not have TClockEx installed; but when I get home I'll test it out.

    Good Luck!

I use Tune-up Winstyler the theme is called Continuim.

This is how it looks with all the default settings.

I use TClocklite and have never really had a problem with blending. It's one of the first things I put on any computer.

Me too, (friends PC's as well), and thanks to COMPUABLE. It was probably his recommendation ages ago that pointed me towards TClockEx. Bazza

    For you? ANYTIME Bazza... :)

Yes that program was first developed around the time that Windows 95 was originally released. It so functional and practical as well. It is very handy and has been downloaded by literally millions of happy users. Also, it has worked about 99.99% flawlessly (without any need for support) in every version of windows since it's inception. No "security" issues, etc.

I believe it is one of the few programs (freeware or shareware) or maybe even the "first one" that could be genuinely labeled "download, install, set and forget!"

    Good Luck!

    Hi, Fellow Geeks

Personally, I prefer DSClock available from dualitysoft.com.
