TCP/IP Connection in C++

    Can anyone give me an idea on how to create a connection between 2 programs that are being created in C++? I've heard you need to use the winsock header file. If that is true can anyone give me hints on how to use it or possible some sort of tutorial either online or book? Thanks in advance.
