Tea time?

When is it time for tea?
I would really like to know.
is there more than one time?
do you have to have tea?
what about coffee or beer?
Why is it time for tea?

 

10 AM and 4 PM

I drink it throughout the day, if it's available..

 

If it's Constant Comment, anytime is tea time. ActualyI always thought 4 PM was tea time, guess I'll have to ask Mick Jagger who "takes tea at 3"

Of course the young kids in coffee houses, etc, around my area say that tea time is 4:20, but I'm sure that that has something to do with some weird Grateful Deadhead kind of thing, nothing to do with real tea....

 

And, here I thought tea time was when you were supposed to meet your buddies for a round of intoxicated golf.

Oh, wait,, that's "tee time". nevermind.

Either Twinnings Earl Grey, or Twinnings Irish Breakfast Tea are excellent teas to have at any time of the day. I usually drink the Irish Tea if I need to just calm down and relax. It's a lighter tea, therefore I doesn't have nearly as much caffeine as Earl Grey - which is a black tea.

Yeah...That's THC time.

 

i always thought tee time was 10am and 3pm, so just goes to show how much i know!!! i think thc time really is anytime though. lol. ps the best english tea is PG tips. i hafta get it sent but on the mainland you can buy it in some of the supermarkets etc. much aloha

 

What good taste! Earl Grey is my mums blend. Personally I prefer good old Tetleys bog standard tea, left in the cup for exactly 32 seconds!

Tea time for "poms" is 4pm, theoretically, but I always have tea with my mum when she gets home from work at about 5:45.

 

Tetley is a very nice brand. We recently started serving them at the restaurant I work at. We only have six different blends to choose from, but Earl Grey is one, so I can't complain.

 

I'd change it to beer time...Or Bacardi Breezer time!

Gottheit, your shopping list must be miles long I'm with goldy on this, good bog standard tea (I like Brookbond D myself) but made nicely, there's nothing worse than weak, milky tea.

Tea bag in the cup, boiling water (none of this just 'hot' stuff), stir and brew until it's all lovely, then add the smallest drop of milk.

hmn think i'll go make myself another cup now.

 

Ususally around 7:30am. But I've know some to start as early as 6:00. I guess they want to finish an 18 holer before the heat sets it.

 

I'm enjoying a cuppa right now... Tetley's finest... left in the cup for 32 seconds, with boiling hot water, stirred 12 times clockwise 8 times anti-clockwise (just to be diffferent) and with a spot of milk in my great big industrial sized coffee mug.

 

In fact, I've just worked out the volume of my coffee mug to be exactly 8171mm squared... or 0.735 l

 

Thats the usable volume. I took of a 10mm layer for "usability" as well as another 5mm sq for rounds overall. If I was being adventurous, I could get an extra 40ml in there!
