    I think I asked this before bt does anyone know of a WebSite that you can iM a PC Tech for help?

    I found Five Stare Tech and after I typed my iM and hit Send it wanted me to pay.

    Of course they want you pay, it's business after all. What's wrong with us? Plenty of experienced people here, professionals too.:confused What can one tech do better than 100 people? There are plenty of other tech sites like MG's that are free too if you wish, I don't know why you would though.

    Typically, unless it's something that is covered under warranty, any type of realtime online help you are going to get is going to be at a cost to you as it is, as augie said, a business with paid technicians. As far as quality/trustworthy businesses of this nature, I have never heard of any reviews unfortunately.

    Free computer help is going to be in the form of forums like Major Geeks where people volunteer their time.
