Temperature Monitoring Software

I have no shortage of monitoring software, but what I'm looking for is the correct reading as I've started to OC my CPU.

I have HWMonitor, AI Suite II's Thermal Radar (uses 10 sensors on the board) & Corsair Link (works like crap on Windows 8.1).

My system:
AMD FX8350 @ 4.5Ghz (hence the high VRM temp) with Corsair H100i (as you can see)
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R.20
Corsair Vengence Pro Red @1600Mhz
MSI R9 290 Twin Frozer IV (Slightly OC'd)
Samsung 840 250GB SSD
Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB

P.S H100i is mounted on the back of the case with X2 Noctua NF-F12's pushing & the TIM is Arctic Silver 5.

I've read somewhere that the temps on the FX 8350 are accurately read by HWMonitor under Temperatures - Package & CPU is actually the socket. I just want some clarification on this as 13C seems a little cool tbh even with a H100i.

I may have included a bit more info than is necessary for once, but that's better than not enough right?

Recently I asked a question about AMD here & worked through it with a someone who wasn't familiar with AMD specifics, now I get nothing? :confused

Well I have emailed AMD support & will update this topic with their hopefully detailed response so at least people who Google this will find help in the future.

In the mean time MG needs to poach some AMD experts from Toms Hardware forums or something! :banghead
