    Hello,

I've tried all program out there, but for some reason the only temperature reading I can get is the HDD

I'm going to install a new CPU in the those old system, I've already got it the CPU and new heatsink/fan, just waiting for my Arctic silver to arrive :zzz. I'm just wanting to the make the sure the CPU is stable. I will NOT be overclocking the CPU, just wanting to make sure the CPU isn't getting too hot.

    PC: Dell Dimension 2400

Here is what I'm seeing on temperature monitoring programs

Does my PC not have any other temp. sensors? If they do is there a way to activate them. Is something not plugged in or is there a BIOS setting?

Some older systems don't have universally recognized temp sensors. The Dell Dimension 2400 is an older PC, and may not have any accessible sensors. Go into the BIOS and see if there's a 'PC Health' setting or a 'Hardware Monitor' setting. If so, you can check the temps that way. If not, then there isn't a lot you can do other than buying a hardware temperature monitor that has leads that you'd physically apply to the CPU, video card, hard drive, etc. Here's an example http://www.logisyscomputer.com/viewsku.asp?SKUID=FP706SL&DID=FRONTPANEL
