Temps won't go down

I have a generic custom case that holds 5 80mm fans, not including the one fan that the PSU has, which is an exhaust.

My original setup was two exhaust fans at the rear plus the PSU exhaust fan, and one intake fan on the side, right about on top of the CPU. The CPU is a socket 478 P4 2.4 Ghz, and the CPU fan, whic is the box-Intel stock unit, blows onto the heatsink.

With this setup, Everest said my CPU and MB temps were both around 106-111.

I added two intake fans on the front, and the temps didn't change. I then traded my ribbon IDE cables for the slick rounded kind, and neatly tucked away all the other cables to improve airflow. Temps didn't change.

Are these temps just the best I'm gonna get? Should I stop worrying? Or should I maybe think about a new case?

Performance isn't really suffering, the numbers just bother me. Those numbers are in Farenheit, by the way.

Setup is the CPU mentioned above with an Asus P4S533 mobo, 1.25 GB of Kingston RAM (2x512, 1x 256), Radeon 7500, 2 5400rom HD's, 2 IDE CD-ROM drives. PSU is I think 320W.

Any suggestions on what else I can do to get these temps down. I'd like to see consistant mid-to low 90's.

    Thanks in advance,

    -Steve

I would go ahead and get the speedfan software to raise my fan speeds. I have a prescott 2.93 and everything is stock, and I just have 2 fans (CPU fan and exhaust fan) and my temps went down from 35C (about 100 F) idle to 30C (about 88f) idle.

Also I would A/C my room.........drops your temps a lot

Maybe your fans aren't positioned the way they should.......

Yeah, the fans don't really seem to push that hard. I'll try that software

    Thanks,
