my husband has a game called Alpha Centauri,he has been able to play it,right along,but is now receiving this messaging whenever it is his turn to play the computer: Terran caused an invalid page defaulted in module Terran.exe@ 0167:00574251.and thenit says stack dump.

He is using windows 98.AMDK6 3D processor 56MB Ram,
32 bit. He does not connect to the internet with his computer it is strictly for playing games,and writing his stories.the game uses 19 bytes(4.096 used) the MS-Dos version is ALPHC1.INI Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri SIDMEI*1.
What does all this mean? and how can I fix it,the cd has no cracks in it,it has a few scratches,but has worked all along up until today.
Any help with this would be much appreicated.

he is not on-line with his computer how can i down load the necessary drvers to his computer?

 

Maybe if you have a burner make a cd with the drivers and take the cd to him. Or network your computer's to directly transfer the drivers.

 

My husband has direct 7, already loaded on his computer,is this the latest driver?
