Minute Mystries

Mystery 1: A man lives on the 27th floor of an apartment building. Everyday when he comes home from work, he takes the elevator to the 11th flooor and then walks the rest of the wa up the stairs. Except on rainy daysm, when he takes the elevator all the way up. Why?

Mystery 2: A woman walks into a bar, sits down, and asks the bartender for a glass of water, The bartender pulls out a gun and points it at the woman. The woman says "Thank You" and walks out of the bar. Why?

Mystery 3: A woman is found hanging dead from the ceiling in a completely empty room with all doors locked from the inside. There is a pool of water on the floor. What happened?

Mystery 4: An archeologist finds two bodies buried at her excavation site. "These are Adam and Eve!" she exclaims. How dose she know?

Mystery 5: A man is running home. He sees a masked man waiting for him, turns around and runs back the way he came back. What happened??

 

Mystery 3: she hung herself on a block of ice.

I knew #2, I can guess #3 (Freddy put me on the right track there, even though I think my solution is more elegant) and I think I know the answer to #1.
