Text to Speech Software??????

I'm looking for a text to speech software. Can anyone give me any ideas as to a good application.

IBM-VIA voice and AT&T natural Voice are suposed to be good.

If you have opera 8,
You can download the free text to speech plugin from opera.

I'm also checking out ReadPlease , Halreader, and Speakonia. My only issue is that they sound very robotic. i can understand them bu the are a little difficult in comprehension. I'm attempting to have the computer lecture to me the contents of my online course in real estate. Wish me luck...... If do you think it's an issue with my sound card, if i usd a better sound card can i get a more human sounding speech pattern.??

 

They all sound robotic. You may be able to play around with their settings and speed, but they will never sound natural.

Next step is to get married. They are also good at lecturing you and repeating things, but unfortunately most don't sound human or natural either.

 

Ahhhhhhhhhhh......... See, I'm trying to takec and pass the R.E. Exam so i can get enough money so I can afford one of those WIFE 2.9 models. I hear they are one step closer to fixing that unpredictable reproductive bug.....hmmmm I guess i'm stuck till then.

 

The robotic voices come with all the apps that use microsoft voices and l&h voices.
