At one time I had a Text to voice engine but now for som reason it is gone. I go into the control panel open speech and when I test a voice it tells me to try another voice or audio soource. Also there is no Text Speech in my add/remove.

I've been trying to find an engine from MS but i'm doing something wrong. I have poor eyesight and this would be a blessing.

    thanks for any help

There should be a text to speech runtime built in with Microsoft Office.

For now you could go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>Accessibility Wizard to ease things a little before you get the text to speech to start working again :)

What operating system are you running? I.E. (Windows 98, ME, 2K, XP, etc).

Do you have any Microsoft Office products installed, as Yzaraf suggested?

I don't have Office. I have XP Home with MS Worksuite. I used the text to speech file for a while as well as speech to text. I did go to Accessibility Wizard and went through that process but no text to speech.
