    Recently, COMPUABLE mentioned a site he (I am assuming:) ) set up called Freeware Rocks. I just want to take a minute to show my appreciation for said site. Downloaded some programs and found his recomendations to be perfect for what I was looking for.

    What is the essential difference between http://freewarerocks.com/ and (if there was a site called) http://www.freewarerocks.com/ ?

    Most people automatically think of the www as being in front of every website .
    No www can confuse tyros ( or newbies or noobs--whatever you call them).

    Why did you decide to go without the www?
