I just wanted to post a thanks for the helpful information you have here. I work in a data center, and am not a n00b by any means, I will admit I don't always stay up to date on what the latest, best software is.

After picking up a root kit (from a torrent... my own fault ), I stepped through your Malware removal guide and found lots of great suggestions on removal tools, as well as anti-virus and firewall software.

I've very rarely seen such a thorough, yet clear and concise, forum. I'd almost say my mom could get through removing a virus with no problem. Almost.
