    Hello all!

I'm newly registered to the forums after being shown the site by a friend of mine a few days ago. I have the following question to put forth:

What's the best dos based anti virus program? Any recommendations would be great. Thanks for any input you all have on this one.

    None?

DOS is a dead OS, and as such, hasn't been developed for in AGES.

Any AV would be so out of date as to be worthless.

I use McAfee. I have not been infected with any viruses, and if it does catch a virus, it immediately deletes it and notifies you. The firewall is also a great add on to your McAfee security center.

Did you even read what the original poster was asking?

Back in the 80's norton was the best antivirus program one could have IMHO.

So, in my opinion, I'd use what controlmind suggested. Though, this is a bit more advanced to what I'm use to with dos based antivirus programs. ;)
