Sadly there is no magical fix for internet speed boosting, your at the mercy of the phone cable and DUN modem, also you maybe at near max DUN speed anything over a connection of 40kbps is good and your not likely to improve this, however you can try a few things.

Make sure your phoneline has a clean signal, just pick up reciever and does it sound crackely? if so see if your phone co, can tweak the line settings ( they can in some instances adjust the line gain )
