The Best Multi-Functional Blu-ray Software

Hi everyone. Currently I just want to split an almost 50Gb Blu-ray movie onto two 25Gb BD-R 4XSpeed discs for viewing. Anything else which it can do would be a bonus. Any suggestions for "the best bang for bucks" software? Thanks.

 

Although I haven't yet ventured into Blu-Ray burning, I can offer some general tips on finding good software:

* Check the Major Geeks download section and search "Blu-Ray". There may be downloadable software there that is either free or offers a free trial period. There is a user feedback rating listed on all downloads and the Administrators of Major Geeks test every download listed to insure it's free of viruses, malware or spyware.

* Read the detailed user reviews on sites such as Newegg, Amazon and CompUSA.com (not just the average ratings). User reviews often contain valuable information dealing with incompatibility issues, speed, etc. that aren't addressed elsewhere. On Blu-Ray software, pay special attention to user reviews dealing with speed: If any type of file conversion is required, anything less than a high-end dual core CPU with at least 4GB memory may be deathly slow.

Thanks but I prefer someone commenting who has used Blu-ray software to get a practical reply on their experiences. I had already contacted Xilisoft & Allok as they deal with this type of issue but it wasn't very helpful.
