The CA Security Advisory Team continually tabulates the most prevalent spyware threats based on reports from eTrust PestPatrol users around the world. This list represents the top 5 reported spyware threats.

Thanks Nick,

But it's rather funny that none of those would even come close to the top 5 I see here on MG's.

And also it is worth noting that DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) is no longer considered spyware if you have any version that came out starting in September 2004.

Indeed! How about Virtumundo? I gained a measure of respect for Symantec when they came up with a removal tool.

I'm still going to call it StopGuard/Virtumundo and you can't stop me!!

Very interesting, chaslang. Anyone out there who has downloaded and used DA Plus, since 9/2004, please comment if it is clean. Old versions certainly weren't. Bazza
