The Computer will win

This 7 year old piece of crap has owned me.533mhz 128ram HP.The computer was full of garbage cleaned it up the registry is so f up I cannot fix it.I have the HP recovery cd.CD roms were not working at all unpluugged the oem which i found to be bad.Bios is set to boot cd rom. It is ok on the cd burner on normal boot but i have to run the recovery cd on boot to fix this machine which it errors out.I played around with cable select master.No luck.I have booted through A floppy start up disk with cd support but this normal working drive is not reconized in BIOS.But it works fine on normal windows boot!!!!!
