The facepalm moment ...

So, we've all had one of these moments, I had one today ... errr yesterday. At my place of work (I work at an Electronics Retail store), I'm the IT expert. So it's expected that I can fix anything to do with IT you know? And when my colleague tells me the Invoice printer isn't working, I simply assume hes checked the basics. Jams, Toner, Drum, Power, Paper etc. So just over half an hour later of scratching my head and wondering what in the hell is going on, I turn to the printer to notice a light flashing on the top. I look, only to realise what the light means, I open the paper tray and sure enough, there's no paper.

*facepalm*

Yea, considering I'm the one that says to everyone never assume anything *facepalm*

 

I got called out to a 'emergency' to a semi-acquaintances house one night because their cable went out and her favorite show was about to come on. So I go there at 8pm, get there and the house was dark, yep... the whole neighborhood had no electricity. I was going to explain it all to them about how things work but just instead told them that when the power company fixes their problem the cable problem would be fixed also.
