    Hello,

I'm using Word 2007 and was surprised that the guys at Microsoft finally decided to include a pdf-converter. Unfortunately, it does not cooperate with me.. More specificely, for no obvious reasons, when I choose to save my document as pdf, the marginals are changed. That is, made broader, which pushes the text together and makes look really bad. Any ideas? I haven't found any options for this pdf-converter, and I have no idea why it does this without my command!

    Thanks in advance!

Okey, I just downloaded & installed CutePDF, and it didn't mess up the layout as bad MS's pdf-converter, but still, it also changes the marginals!! How can this be possible?

I'd be really happy if I'd get a quick answer, I have a deadline for my Thesis tomorrow!

You mean margins, right? Does Word's PDF converter affect all margin settings or only some?

I have PrimoPDF and pdf995 installed on my Windows XP computer. I convert a monthly newsletter sent to me as a Word document by the office manager of a local organization. The newsletter is usually about 10 pages. Generally, either PrimoPDF or pdf995 will do the job. However, the newsletter usually contains a lot of graphics and those sometimes do not properly convert with PrimoPDF, so I use pdf995 for this newsletter. Sometimes, I use PrimoPDF for other documents. I've never noticed an issue with margins.

Sorry, my bad, it should be margins.

In the meantime I've tried my other computer, which has pdf995 installed and the problem persists! It doesn't matter if I use the integrated converter, CutePDF, pdf995 or OnlinePDF, the pdf-print-out has bigger margins than the word-print-out.

I've not only tried different programs and computers, but also tried to mix with the settings, without result. I cannot understand how a simple pdf-converter with basically no settings can mess this up.

    Grateful for any help!
