The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded

Ok I am new here and I am desperately seeking help. I have searched the other threads for the answer but this one is just bizarre.

Recently I tried to burn a dvd with DVD Decrypter and I got this error message:

E 12:52:04 CreateFile Failed! - Device: '\\.\Cdrom0'
E 12:52:04 Reason: The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded.
E 12:52:04 CreateFile Failed! - Device: '\\.\Cdrom1'
E 12:52:04 Reason: The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded.
E 12:52:04 CreateFile Failed! - Device: '\\.\Cdrom2'
E 12:52:04 Reason: The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded.
W 12:52:04 No devices detected!


I have no clue what is going on so I did what I could: I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and got the same thing! I went to Nero to burn a cd and it does not realize that both my CD burner and my DVD burner are there. I have no clue why one day they would work and the next not. I also tested the drives, both read cds and play movies. Everything works fine but burning programs just won't work.

Oh and I should mention that I can't open Malware programs at all. I download the programs and go to run them and nothing happens.

I have run all virus programs and found nothing. Please can someone help me!! I am at my wits end!

Just letting you know that I went back and followed the steps for a full XP clean. It worked and fixed everything. You guys are truly the greatest and your guides are well informed and detailed so poor computer illiterate people (like myself) can follow it.

Oops Tami, the authorized malware team probably won't see your logs in here. If you're still not sure that you're clean then you should repost the logs in the malware forum for the best analysis though it will take a day or two before you get an answer.
