    Hello all.

I use comcast internet, and I was running through a LinkSys router that enables Wireless B connections for my mom's laptop. One day, it just stopped routing the internet connection without reason, which as you can guess...is rather troubling. My internet works fine through the actual cable modem, but if I run through there my mom doesn't get internet on her laptop. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Check on the management page of the router and see if it is still doing mode B or whether it is now only doing mode G?
Can you ping the router from the laptop?
Could it be the wireless card on the lap top?
If you have nothing special saved to the router maybe try resetting to defaults?

Does the connection stop on the wired part or the wireless part? You didn't make that too clear :)

Did you try reseting the router? There should be a button on the bottom, depending on your model...I forgot to do this when updating my firmware and it took me a day to realize that it wasn't linked. Funny thing was, as long as I didn't log off, my connection worked, but one by one I lost my connections to my network.
