Wow, I learn something every day….when I fish I wear cargo pants, and any old t-shirt………..didn’t know, one needed to wear camm’ys, while fishing…………nice fish……wobbles

@ Wobbles - maybe you do in CA In OR at 5am the river (and the air generally) is extremely cold still this time of year and the cammo jacket is the warmest I have. Shorts and Tee is all I wear in summer too

 

Hey Wobbles didn’t you notice that our fair maiden of the Oregon Mist did not even have a ROD!!!! Me thinks she might be related to those Sirens of Greek Mythology, or maybe that should be Geek Mythology.
Dang the woman catches fish with her bare hands, sure learn a lot here on the Geek Channel.

 

My husband would agree with you both...I always thrash him at fishing and he's been doing it all his life, unlike me. I leave him standing on the bank scratching his head in bemusement lol.

Fishing is just so cool..I love it, and I love my waders even more! They rock!!!

Nahhhh..wayyyy to oily a fish for me. The eggs will be cured for salmon bait and the meat will be used as crab bait.

Exactly...just lulling around with the current

I had to get some new boots to wear with my waders. Went down Big 5 and they had some $60 sneakers for $10 because someone had mixed the sizes around and one was a 9 and the other a 9 1/2. Worked great for me as I just needed a cheap pair of oversize boots....size doesn't matter lol

 

Yeah but wders sux when they have a big hole in the crotch (don't ask!), and the inside of the waders look like a golfish pond.

Been there, done that, etc.....

 

My husband has a whole in the butt of his waders lol........again...don't ask!

 

I put it down to "gay fish", for both of us!....

I'm not a fisherman Lev, but that's bigger than anything I've caught. Which may be why I'm not an avid fisherman.
