The trojans infiltrated!

I am a newbie-wanna-be-trying to learn my way 'round computer world 'cause I can't afford a tech...so here's the scoop..I have a Dell 640 laptop, windows xp professional,decent specs,..I admit, surfed some naughty sites and was attacked, I am told. So with the help of Windows xp professional reinstallation CD, which includes Service Pack 1, we tried to repair the machine. So a friend of mine who temporarily helped me for a day ran the scans, removals and repaired with numerous defences besides Trend P-Cillen, which was on the machine, i.e. Spybot, AVG, etc... he said that by doing some of his killing in the safe mode that the Trojen attackers became uncloaked...all this got the machine up and running good with one catch: THIS IS MY QUESTION FOR YOU GEEKS OUT THERE!!: When I try to go wireless, which worked fine before the attack, I get a small box called RUNDLL In the box is a big red X, and a message that says: Error in wzcdlg.dll Missing Entry: FlashConfigCreateNetwok Does anyone have a clue 'bout this problem or how to fix it? My 3Com Wireless card had its drivers installed and updated, microsoft has been updated, but I still cannot go wireless, and when I try to view available networks i get the same error message..my internet carrier tech people cannot help me 'cause they say it is in my computer...if anybody knows anything, feel free to e-mail me at : Thanks.

 

wzcdlg is part of the Wireless Zero Configuration Service component; click in
Control Panel-->Administrative Tools-->Services and see if the service is running.

Also open Device manager and make sure there is not a yellow ! or a red x aside of your wireless driver.
