The webpage could not be saved

Can anyone solve this one ? I hope it's a standard issue with an easy solution

Sometimes, with some individual webpages, if I try saving them in 'webpage complete', format, I get the message 'Error Saving webpage - This webpage could not be saved' , when I try save this particular webpage as an archive (P*mht) it looks likes it's saving it, but makes no progress (0%) after 5 minutes and when I try to stop or cancel the save it won't; it effectively locks up IE, all tabs; no other open tab can be accessed. But it does save 'Webpage html only,' and successfully retrieves and displays that.

That would enough for me, all I want is a kind screenshot of the whole page, where I can copy bits out of if I want. The links don't have to work (but it would be nice if they did). I really want the mht fil to save and work, but if it did on other webpages, it did not what is described above for the latest webpage. But would like to not get 'Error Saving webpage - This webpage could not be saved'.

I am using IE11, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (although I always get iexplore *32 in task manger)
