The Weekend Thread

I did this on another site, but appears from the suggestions above me right now that it hasn't been done in awhile. So "What are your plans this weekend?"

For me, tonight heading over to my grandparents house to have my wife and kids spend some time with them. Yesterday was my son's birthday and we are celebrating there.

Saturday - Going to my son's cousin's birthday party.

Sunday - Bit of church and relaxation.

Monday (Memorial Day) - Remember our brave men and women in the services, and have a cookout.

 

beer
sleep
work a little from home
beer
got a group of people to ride motorcycles with. probably go for a bike ride.
computer games
beer
read another chapter or two out of ccna book.

Havent decided on the order these activities will take place though.

 

Let's see - hubby went fishing this morning so I am going to:

work in the yard
plant flowers
weed wack
finish laundry
meet friends tonight for well deserved cocktails

Saturday:

Going to the Jersey shore
hopefully start on my tan
cocktails?? Probably

Sunday:

BBQing with some friends and again, having
some well deserved cocktails

Monday:

Recover from all the well deserved cocktails

Read a few chapters for MCP Vista
Get ready for the upcoming week

That is all I can think of so far

 

Finish painting the main bath vanity

Waiting for a sink I reordered on line (receiving the wrong one first order)

Hopefully getting it all hooked up and working again

 

Tonight I'll be watching the Red Wings kick some more Blackhawks butt. :-D

Tomorrow I'm working 9am to 1am.

Sunday I'm working 8am to 8pm.

Monday's a holiday, right? They won't pay us double time, so I think maybe that's when I'll sleep. Unless they decide it's worth it, and then I'll be working again.

 

Our Beagle Club is having a 2 day field trial this weekend S/S I'll be there most of both days, hopefully we have lots of dogs, and plenty of rabbits.

Other than that, I don't know. I have to mow the lawn, and get a garden put together. Also, have to log some hours at the office, might do that Monday if all else fails.

What is paid time off anyhow? I think I read about it in a Fairy Tale.

I always have fun though, so I'm not worried about the weekend being a drag.

I thought I had cleared the deck for Memorial Day. Seems this year it comes early and so THIS week I have some work planned and then next week I have loaded up what was a fairly empty calendar......

 

Saturday: Play Mass Effect, shop around for car, root for Lakers. Get drunk after game to either celebrate or cry.

Sunday: Play Mass Effect, shop around for car, go to museum/lunch/coffee, with good friend.

Monday: Play Mass Effect, shop around for car, root for Lakers. Get drunk after game to either celebrate or cry.

Who needs variety? :-D

Hey now... the UK has May 25th off!

 

That's why I wished a happy long weekend to the rest of the world. Even if they are working.

 

My weekend panned itself out last night. The wife is working all weekend, so it looks like a whole dose of peace and quiet. Unless the kids decide to visit. Then it's Bedlam.

 

Saturday: Homework, News, Homework, Sleep.


Sunday: Homework, Desperate Houswives (if I'm home), Family Guy, News, Homework, Sleep.


Monday: Cram all the homwork I missed on saturday and sunday all into one day.

 

For a minute. LOL Meh, we can give y'all one.

My weekend plans have changed a bit...I no longer have to work Sunday, so I'll be munching on free chili dogs, drinking cheap beer, and watching Game Four.
